thought you didn't believe in the technical stuff. Actually i don't believe in TA as it applies to individual stocks. However, options activity can provide some insight in what what investors are feeling----the ratio probably reflects what the investors have already done (taken defensive positions). That is why i actually believe it at certain times only. I don't use it as a bearish indicator but choose to accept it as a bullish indicator only. I am being selective but when money keeps flowing into the market, that is what makes sense to me. I will note that my understanding on the subject of put/call ratios is very limited. I would appreciate any input from you.
