The set top box market in Europe and Asia will grow faster than the US market............................ allnetdevices.com Interestingly, while total numbers of set-tops in the U.S. will grow, North America's total share of digital set-top boxes will decline by 21 percent between 1999 to 2004, the study indicates. By contrast, the installed base of set-tops in Europe and Asia is projected to grow more rapidly, accounting for half of the global installed base.
