richard: What do you make of Samsung's announcement regarding JUST being selected as vendor for test equipment. How long do you think it will take to get these things online and will they deliver enough testing equipment to allow 3 million chips a month that Samsung wants to produce. Quick idiot math indicates that to produce 3 M chips a month and 8 chips on a parallel test on the RDX2200, they will need to cycle that parallel test device 9 times a minute 24/7. Specifically, if it takes 5 minutes per test they need 45 testors. Does anyone have an idea how long that parallel test takes on a RDRAM devices. Samsung only got $100 million from Intel to help them with purchase of test equipment. I got a call into Slumberger. john
