I was at the GCSC today for lunch. Got there about 2PM. Lunch crowd had already dissipated. I sampled every one of the soups and stews. I was thoroughly impressed. Not just with the quality of food, but the service, ambience, and location. I'm going back again tomorrow or Friday; for two reasons: 1. I liked the food so much, I want more. 2. I wanna see how much of a crowd they get from 11:30 till 2. Personally, I think this is the best thing that's happened to this company in 15 years. I used to eat at Grandma Lee's 20 years ago - they were okay. I also tried My Bagel about 2 or 3 years ago - I wasn't impressed at all. After eating at GCSC, I'm ecstatic. Everything is perfect, IMO. They've got a great concept in a great location with great food opening up just in time for soup season - winter. And from what I understand, there's a good possibility of them opening up another location in another high traffic section of down town Toronto in the near future. Personally, over the next 12 months I think this puppy's gonna move up to higher grounds - much higher grounds. All the Best Marty P BTW, I heard that someone already offered to buy them out for .10/share but Janick refused to sell.
