Why no mention of VLNC? I'm not getting impatient as I've already waited 4 years for this event to transpire, however, being so close to production and revenue makes me a bit jumpy! There's going to be competition, no doubt about it. But, do any of the other companies noted have the relationships that VLNC does, including GM Delco, Alliant, etc., Valence has some big backers. They've hung around during a completing depressing time, fy96 they had NO REVENUES!

Advanced battery tech is paramount in the portable electronics marketplace. It's also sensible in the automobile market. But, it's quite obvious that politics is involved in the development of electric batteries for the automobile industry. Talk about your old school and trying to teach an old dog(s) new tricks. It'll take an act of Congress to get the auto industry to begin producing electric cars, especially when the cost of gas is at all time lows. There's no cost benefit involved!

Oh well, I'm speculating about the applications of Valence's products. The key is to start getting production going so that they can get revenues in the door so they can ramp up R&D to stay ahead of the curve.

I'd be very curious to see where the price of VLNC is 3 years from now! Here's wishing for $50!
