TO THE THREAD:
Just got off phone with PR at Slumberger. They have sold test equipment to NEC and now Samsung. They noted that additional units are under evaulation at other RAM manufacturers. Can anyone summarize test equipment sales information. What are Toshiba, Infineon, Hyundai-LG using for test equipment. I am impressed with Slumberger having 5 different pieces of equipment involved in RDRAM and RIMM testing.
They will get back to me tomorrow regarding how long it will take to test 8 128 Mbit RDRAM devices. I consider this piece of information critical in determining how many RDRAM's they can produce in month. How long it takes determines how many test stations are required.

We have know since June that testing RDRAM will be the rate limiting factor in it's ramp up to volume production.
I am trying to get a feel of how many testors are required and associated costs involved.

I am getting the feel that the majority of you guys just want to talk volts, amps and NAP mode. I am more interested on my return on investment.
