Pedersen is not starter material (never was and never will be). He might be an adequate backup. I like what I see in Andy Reid thus far but Doug Pedersen won't cut it as a starter. I predict McNabb (ready or not) starts by mid-October. The Philly faithful won't tolerate much more than that.
