Lather.Rinse.Repeat. i can tell you are a party animal and can appreciate subtle humor. I take comfort in that.

On to the black box,
and.....

The current theory of evolution has not been successfully extended back beyond the fully
functioning unicell. The theory for going from
prebiotic conditions, the "mud hole" if you
will, to a fully competent unicell is a big
black box.

Learn something everyday . That tells you how
long it's been since I read up on evolution, GGGG.

BUT, b u t, Lather.Rinse.Repeat....of course
evolution has been extended back by the
scientific method of trying to reconstruct a past
event. ( same type of logic used in reconstructing the Theory of Evolution )!!!!!

The Theory clearly implies no Guiding Hand .
Well then obviously it is logical, reasonable,
human? to assume, that
there was No Guiding Hand
also in the
pre-biotic era, , correct?

So no black box there for me LRR. I know now
that the little molecules and the photons with the electromagnetic waves as well as the microwaves the
prions , protons, electrons, w h a t e v e r ,
all got together, did their magic dance over
5 billion years and hoopla!!! we got the
5th symphony.
This is so elementary that any high schooler in
America can understand. In Europe it is a little
harder I have to admit because in high schools
there where they teach
philosophy, the kids learn by grade 11 to believe
that anything a teacher says is wrong or a t
least highly suspicious, till proven correct.
( Which is why BTW it is SO hard to reach Europeans
new tricks: they are so suspicious. )[ the corollary
is that that is why technology moves faster
in America: they are so open minded to any ides
no matter how crazy it sounds in the beginning.
Which is why BTW technology maybe so helpful to the technologically oriented as
Michelle Harris hinted earlier,

I think you are pretty safe against argument from me. While I Now Have Built-in Conditioner!!! I can't tell how deep into your cheek (if that is the proper
anatomical metaphor for someone named after ... an anatomical metaphor) your tongue is thrust. So I'm not gonna take you on; I'd risk feeling stoopid if I
earnestly deconstructed what might be levity. Party on.

It is not nearly so simple, Tunica. Your "random mud-hole" phrase is designed to be pejorative. It reminds me of that monumentally annoying
Diuretics
commercial that ridicules irreligious scientific theory.
The current theory of evolution has not been successfully extended back beyond the fully functioning unicell. The theory for going from
prebiotic
conditions, the "mudhole" if you will, to a fully competent unicell is a big black box.
There is currently a great deal of interest in panspermia theories ... the idea that life did not independently arise on Earth, but bacteria from
extrasolar
sources "inoculated" the young Earth just as soon as it became at all hospitable.
So there is wiggle room between the mudhole and the altar.
