Evolution, although a touchy subject with religious groups, is a scientific fact. It is what much of the way humans think of the world is based upon. I think it is important to learn the theory of evolution so one can be an informed and educated member of society. Learning and believing in something are two very different things. The school district who banned evolution from the curriculum is doing those children no favors. What happens when those very students graduate and move on to college? Just because one doesn't agree with a viewpoint is no reason for him to pretend it does not exist.
