Bart, I would have asked you these questions off line and made my comments about your post in private via Email, but your profile represents the same lack of precocity tou have acheived at your ripe old age of 29, and has no Email.
You may have confused techmology and development issues with consumer trends and marketing, not surprising given your Engineering background. But lacking of social communication skills does not explain your critical discussion of another individual. Having been in situations where "doing the best we can" is not good enough for the market, or in some cases the shareholders, attributing "lack of character" attacks does not facilitate any resolution of problems.
If you do not want to invest more money in SW, don't. It is acceptable for you to be decisive based upon information forwith from SW. It is not enough for your investment. But you appear to want more info, "tell us more" so I can give you more money?" Why not just say no?
Okay to be negative but to say " Show us what you've got for real, and then I promise I'll back off. " (closing quote added by author) seems to have a strange vindictive attitude. I cannot remember if you revealed the level of your loss, but this comment makes me think it was significant, at least to your investment portfolio. If so, I understand your anger, and that is why I have suggested over and over, do not invest more, let SW do what they say, give them the chance to execute. If one does believe their strategy is "salvation" of their investment then by all means double down.
Much of your treatise is based upon engineering observations, and does not represent what consumers will buy. A consumer wouldn't know a TCP/IP connection if it reached out of their box and punched 'em in the nose. So what? It is currently used by 55 million users.
So, all I'm saying is lighten up on what I feel are personal attacks. And, I have been flamed elsewhere for donating my two cents. It feels lousy, and I am sorry if I have done that to you. My email is listed. |
