the fact that market continues to sell off despite the benign CPI was a hint that we have more downside to go. October is around the corner and there are several Y2k disaster movies coming out.

The Y2K itself will be mostly a non-event, but the fear of the disaster among the mass, though perhaps overblown and somewhat irrational, is very real. Many of my clients are already making preparations for fund redemption and outflow.
