RESEARCH ALERT - CSFB ups Sapient target to $110
Reuters Story - September 16, 1999 09:00
NEW YORK, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston said Thursday it raised its price target for Internet consulting firm Sapient Corp. to $110 from $90.

-- Expects company to announce shift to cash earnings, which should add $0.05 to fiscal 2000 earnings per share.

-- Believes stock's "blistering run-up" is merited based on Sapient's solid positioning.

-- Hiring tracking is ahead of estimates and should total roughly 1,560 professionals, up 10 to 11 percent sequentially.

-- Shares of Sapient closed at 87 on Wednesday on the Nasdaq stock market.
