Gods did exist a long time ago
Right, I saw that Star Trek episode. And the gods got pissed off because nobody was believing in them anymore (all except Jehova who was still recruiting) and went off to bother another planet. I liked that episode especially for the female crew member that kind of fell for Apollo and started going around in that backless flowing gown.
