Sumar, ancient city state pre-dating Babylon, in the Tigris and Euphrates river basin, right?

Had a panthenic religious structure that went on to be the basis of Babalonian and Phoneacian beleifs.

What I can't remember is if Hammibarbara(sp?) *the guy who invented civil code* was Babalyonian or Sumerian.

Also, reference to Sumerian mythos was made heavily in Ghostbusters.
