OK I'll respond. First thing, I AM NOT LIQUIDATING MY HOLDINGS. Neither are any of the other founders, our shares are still restricted from trading. I have no explanation for this recent selling and current share price. This company is growing. There are certain things that I cannot discuss at this time because it has not been released to the public yet. Revenues and penetration rates have been higher than expected. There has been more demand for this service than expected therefore the need for more capital.
Did anyone in BC watch the BCTV news last night. Following the news on Hurricane Floyd there was five minutes on MDU Communications and the new install at Woodcroft Estates, the largest residential complex in Western Canada. Service is being delivered to the residents at 50% the price Rogers cable is charging and Rogers is freaking. Rogers is trying to scare the tenants by saying they cannot receive internet if they choose MDU's satellite service. It was made clear that Rogers was using this as a tactic to try and keep residents from switching. So far 850 of the 1400 residents have switched to MDU (this is in addition to the approximately 14,000 subscribers in place already). They stated that MDU will be delivering their high speed internet service there in 2 - 3 months.
Three minutes after the news aired the phones at the MDU office went crazy. If anyone has any doubts about this then just call the sales office and ask what happened.
