What are chances CLWK will get squeezed out by the biggies and become an also ran? They are in separate markets, have separate customer targets, but the attached article started me thinking.

From Information Week Daily (www.informationweek.com):

- AT&T To Offer DSL, Cable To Businesses

AT&T yesterday launched DSL business services for 17 U.S.
markets and detailed plans to offer a cable modem-delivered
business service by early 2000.

The carrier is offering three types of DSL services, ranging
from single-user to a managed multiuser DSL package. Access
speeds for the various services range from 144 Kbps to 1.5
Mbps and come in both asymmetrical and symmetrical flavors.
Costs will range from $59 to $469 per month. AT&T will
expand DSL to more than 100 markets within the next 12
months, and it plans to have more than 2,000 DSL POPs by
2001.

AT&T will also launch a trial of cable modem-delivered
business services to enterprises in selected areas of six
markets during the fourth quarter of 1999. General
availability of the service--which will use the hybrid
fiber/coaxial cable plant from AT&T's recent acquisition of
Tele-Communications Inc.--is planned for the first half of
next year. - Chuck Moozakis, InternetWeek
