Those with relevant backgrounds have no obligation to answer, and it is time-consuming to do such. In addition, scientists have it beaten into them to be very careful when using "opinion". If you don't get an answer, you don't get an answer. Pointing to the lack of one is only going to, long-term, make your questions unwelcome.
