Jake "The Snake" Plummer will be
on the shelves of a store near you by
the end of the week.

The Cardinals quarterback's new
cereal, Jake's Flakes, will be in
Valley grocery stores as early as
Saturday, according to the folks at
Famous Fixins, the New York
company that produces
celebrity-endorsed food products.

The cereal, which tastes similar to
Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, also will
be sold in supermarkets in Plummer's hometown of Boise, Idaho.

All of the proceeds will go to charity.

Most of Plummer's teammates can't wait to take a taste test.

"I'll have to read the nutritional part first," starting left tackle Matt Joyce
said. "I'm a cinnamon-toast-raisin guy or granola. I try to stay healthy."

Plummer also is on the cover of this week's ESPN Magazine, pictured in
hair that appears to be covered with mousse and blow-dried. He is
holding a snake.

"It's a boa," he said. "I'm over my fear of snakes.

"I don't think I'm a superstar just because I'm on the cover. All that comes
from being around good teammates and winning games."
