Dear Gregor:
It sounds like this family has some severe problems. My first concern is over Darrell "going off," and apparently beating his fists into cars, walls, etc. I know that you said he did not do it, but I pray that the Lord will instill in him that there is NEVER an excuse for beating any member of his family (or anyone else except in self-defense). May the Lord help him to control his anger.
Father, I join my brother, Gregor, in raising this family to your throne and asking that you would intervene. Father, I pray that whatever is at the root of Darrell's anger be dealt with but most of all that Darrell learn to control his anger. Father, I pray that Satan be subdued and not allowed to strike against any member of this family. Father, I pray that you would show this family that you are in charge in their lives so long as they surrender themselves to you - and I pray that they do, indeed, surrender to your power, glory, strength and love. I pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
