Hi Mark,
I wonder if this thread would be a good place to have a gun discussion? Most recent on the list of crazies is of course is the Baptist church in Fort Worth,Tx. where a crazy walked in, shot and killed seven and wounded several others.
I have heard the same guys on the same sides of the issue on TV saying such things as "first our airports, then our schools, now our churches or "santuarys" , we now have to get rid of all these guns". I will say at this point, that the "Church" is within, and not four walls, so to me they are just buildings and no more "spiritual" than a school house or your house.
I will open the discussion by having a statement then a question.
Statement: If the gov't makes it illegal to own firearms and comes to get mine, I will give them up.
Question: There were guns galore in, oh..let's say 1967. But yet there was not the invasive violence that there is now. Is it a matter of guns? or people? WHAT CHANGED??
