Armin, enough interest rate hikes and one day we will wake up in a bear market. If you are afraid of that you should not buy any stocks,
as you won't sleep nights. In my opinion, it is a valid concern. One year soon in my opinion the Dow will be down 20% instead of up 20%.
I think that each year going forward it is 50/50.

I own a lot of this at an average of $2, but bought a small amount more today exactly as described. The purchase by Lewis has changed my attitude about this price level. I think that if the semiconductor environment remains constructive I am guessing that Xicor might make between $.30 per share on $40 million sales and $.45 on $50 million in the fourth quarter next year. This guess is based on what I know and what I speculate based on the Lewis purchase. Xicor should lose perhaps a nickel or less in the current quarter and be cash flow positive.

I will say that the snap back from today's lows has not been vigorous or accompanied by large bids.
