YESSSSS! We're on broker bashing times... my favorite subject other than recess in elementary. I hope Jenna don't mind us cluttering her thread...part of newbie trading lesson IMO. Last week I had a GTC limit order to sell 1000 sh, saw it coming up fast so I decided to cancel my order and reordered after 15 minutes to sell 1 point higher. When I checked later I found that I sold 2000sh altogether so Waterhouse and I had a tete-a-tete on how screwed up their computer is to take a second order on something I did not own anymore... I lost, BUT won eventually since the stock dropped the next day and I covered lower on an accidental short position. I'm thinking of adding to the SEC small investor complaints files... :)) SF
