Major points: DVD - Looks like 50%-55% market share is theirs. - Good design activity happening now. - DVD market looking very positive. VCD - Volume will be significantly up in the June Quarter. - CD Loader is not a problem in thier view. In fact a shortage would help because VCD is growing too fast. - Market is shaping up to be 14-15mm units. - VCD market share is comming back. - VCD volume for this Q was not discussed. Privately: Hans will be shocked. ------------- Looks like CD loader problem is an ESS excuse. This was discussed before on this thread. An old friend to the thread says "it's all over but the screaming".
