Raytel Announces Co-Marketing Arrangement for Internet Site

SAN MATEO, Calif., Sep 16, 1999 (BW HealthWire) -- Raytel Medical Corporation (Nasdaq:RTEL) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Medsite.com for Raytel to offer Medsite.com's MedBookStore and MedSupplies at the Raytel Internet site, www.raytel.com.

Through this agreement, Raytel will offer to the 12,000 physicians who annually use Raytel's monitoring services the capability to purchase medical books and supplies at discount prices. Physicians will be able to select from over 90,000 books ranging in subject matter from medical and technical subjects to general interest, as well as a wide assortment of medical software and medical supplies, ranging from stethoscopes and specialty instruments to protective equipment and replacement parts. Raytel will receive a commission from Medsite.com for each purchase made through the Raytel Internet site.

Vikram Mittal, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, commented, "We are very pleased to offer additional services on our site to the physicians who use our other services.
