QSFT --

QSFT is a company selling software that help MIS people to manage their software/hardware. It can monitor oracle database performances and also the hardware performances. Most of their product is for oracle databases.

I have extensively evalulated their software IWATCH and also looked into other products offered by other companies, such as BMC, LANDMARK, and even oracle's own OEM. I think QSFT's software is nice and useful; however BMC's patrol and LANDMARK's smartwatch also serves the same purpose, OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) from oracle also does about the same thing and it is offered free in many cases...

QSFT will grow if oracle getting more market share, however, QSFT will not stay at the current price/sales ratio of 35 for long (ORCL's P/S is 6.3 and BMCS's P/S is about 10)

IMO, the fair price for QSFT is around $15, and since it is a profitable company, I would add $5 max to that, so it is $20.

I have been shorting QSFT from 40+ and covered around 32+ and shorted it again @ 36+.

The following is in QSFT's S1:

>>MANY OF OUR PRODUCTS SUPPORT ORACLE'S TECHNOLOGIES AND THEREFORE OUR SUCCESS IS
DEPENDENT IN PART ON ORACLE
>>MANY OF OUR PRODUCTS COMPETE WITH PRODUCTS AND FUNCTIONALITY OFFERED BY ORACLE

L.

ps: One more thing, this company is not a .com, not sexy at all, perfect short candidate.
