Of course the stock shouldn't drop 29%, as much as the dilution; they will use the money productively to increase revenues and earnings.

OT- I match tax lots in my taxable account; I do have some shares I trade there for ST gains using margin. I also have sizable Roth Conversion and Rollover IRA accounts where I can trade stocks w/o worrying about tax impact.
