You are both right in saying that the U.S. role is to take care of themselves first. It seems that there is so much
going on today and very little coverage by the press. Why is that? Why won't the press cover the Alien's run at the Mexican / American border? ( Thats where 250 to 300 illegals all run at the same time in hopes the border patrol wont catch them.) I am all for having people come to this country through the correct methods, become a citizen if they want. It does help with the economy of the U.S,. There are jobs that I would pay to have done, that I myself would not do.
The problem that I see is this. There are people in the back hills of Kentucky, that do not have enough to eat. There are derilicts on the streets of Phoenix sleeping with their shopping carts in the parks. Yeah some are insane, some don't know any better, some don't want too.
However, there are people that do know better, are still wanting to work for a living and need the help of the U.S. taxpayer far more than Thailand, Burma, Africa, Indonesia, ..... Did you know that our great government gave Billions to the Chinese????
Why not pay off our Debt first? Why not close our borders to illegal aliens, Why not treat our people to free healthcare first and then if theres some left over..... Give it to our friends. We have not been paid by the French for WW2. Or England..
