codawg, I was about to bid a boatload of options contracts at 1/16 or taken them at 1/8(splitting the bid and ask). On the Sept95s----there were 300 to 600 percent payoffs by the end of the day.

What kept me from taking such a position was that there was nothing eventful happening next week that could cause a spike late Friday--like earnings release or some new product launch. In other words, it would have been just a gamble that one could take at a casino. That was my reason for settling on the 90s as there was not much left above the stock price---meaning i could trade them with the movement of the stock itself.

BTW--I would still bet on a late day Friday rally but only if we did not get a rebound like we did this afternoon. Overall, i am optimistic about tomorrow's trading but i am not as convinced as i was this morning----would need to see the opening of the market before i get a feel for what (if anything) i would "play" tomorrow.
