"Stock analysts and investors who follow this industry closely view the value of our offer as more than $12 a share, which is almost double where the Air Canada share price was prior to the Onex proposal."

I have not figured out the business of the offer being equivalent to $12 a share. How does that work out? It seemed to me that the offer is for $8.25 for half your shares and one share in AirCo for the remaining half. Is this on expectation that AirCo would trade much higher. If so, what is this based on?

Can anyone help.
