I'm going on memory too but my recollection was that CAPS was supported by Westell and was going for First to Market sorts of advantages (kind of like USRX in 56K X2). DMT was more expensive now but new DSP chips coming out this summer would make this much more affordable. My sense is also that there are some performance benefits of DMT.
