Yeah, I guess I was being a little cutesy, trying to play off the title of the thread.

LIPO is very much a biotech, however - a profitable one, even. I owned it for a while, as I thought it was a munch candidate, but then fortunately bailed at a good price a little while back when I thought it got too pricey. I know that you've never cared much for it, and Miljenko was certainly always plenty skeptical of Evacet.

LIPO will certainly cause the shorts to look around for another biotech target. We may see a wider set of shorts next time - which will mean generally lower-quality and meaner attacks. I just hope we don't get some Asensio-type attacks on respectable biotechs.

VPHM of course has done very nicely. There the shorts were the ignorant day-trader types, short-selling on the pop. I'm not convinced yet that GLIA's weakness is in fact short-engendered.
