But these may also be frivolous lawsuits. Why I would associate frivolous lawsuits with Lerach.....I just can't say. I have never heard of the other two firms who jumped on after Lerach......but I figure they are "monkey see" type firms.
I don't seem to get the impression from the AMPD press release that AMPD is claiming that they have invented a technology. I read it as saying that they have a new product line.
And I'm not sure they had the time or responsibility to correct the statements of others. They may not have been paying that close of attention....after all, the CEO walked on CNBC having no idea that he was going to get blind-sided.

If a car dealer says they are selling new products....and they are say.....Motorcycles, I don't think they are saying that they have invented the motorcycle.
I don't see where they invented it....or that it was something that did not already exist.
New can be used in a context to mean not used. I believe AMPD will be selling new products. Are the products they will be selling, in fact, pre-owned?
I think this will be a case that "intent" must be proven.......and AMPD may want to fight it.

From what I can see....AMPD does have a product line....and intends to pursue this business line. And this could very well cause excitement. Wireless internet services are interesting.
Without a doubt....the filing of these suits....(and look for them to be re-announced over and over)......have killed the stock....$16.00 to $6.00....which may have been the point all along.
AMPD joins a very long list of Tech companies to have the honor of being filed upon by Lerach.....Usually, the companies have assets worth going after....... AMPD must have value?.....of some kind?
It will be interesting to see how the company reacts....I would assume they will have a statement tomorrow. If not...then they are just in a coma....or something.
I'm looking for a gap down on the opening to about $1.00.<g>
