2 more requests answered:.. I'm going to post a 10 page color glossary of candlestick charts (courtesy of Telescan's Investgor's Platform 'help file') I only use about 10 or so (the others are rare anyhow). 2) Long John did an excellent analysis of the trends and track record of the earnings plays.

I will be adding that analysis to the Market Gems Manual together with the last newsletter than will be a chapter on 'cups & handles, rounded bottoms, and v-cups & handles' only pertaining to our Earnings plays stocks and revised to 'fit in' with the other strategies.

These plays are doing so well that it would be a real shame not to follow up the 'intermediate' and/or 'position trade' value of the earnings plays. I have been following how stocks like ADIC, ANEN and ACTM react after earnings and they almost all become 'hot' momentum plays in their own right much in the style of our HIFN, EMLX, HLIT, CREE and GALT. It is on those 'high flyers' that I would like to concentrate on in the next weeks just as we do the ipo's and net stocks.

This is getting too much for one person to handle even with research assistance. Hopefully some ideas others and myself have come up with will come to fruition shortly, since I'm still getting e-mail from newbies and those that would like

a) a forum easier to follow than SI for the newer traders that will track <all> the plays and not just the ones called out within 1-2 days. (this might involve not even adding a new watch list daily but rather concentrating a on few days watch lists until a number of them 'trigger' buy signals)... This WOULD NOT be hand holding which I don't espouse, but rather watching and learning how a 'potential trade' becomes an actual trade in real time .

b) Increased education for newbies on our strategies and generally on swing trading and 'fundamentally sound' stocks as opposed to the 'daytrade of the ipo's and nets'..

b)proper forum devoted to earnings plays beyond just the 'pop' before and/or after earnings.
