I'm thinking of gold as an investment which is 'out of favour, nobody loves, is forgotten', etc., etc., - all of the ingredients in fact for a raging buy! Also the B of E auction is pivotal - someone posted something here fairly recently about the first Treasury (or IMF?) auction in the late 70's - how the price fell, etc. It was the second auction which was the telling one. So we'll see if history repeats itself. Actually the nay sayers here have nothing new to say either - only able to smugly gloat - mind you it's true to say that nobody can recognise a true bottom in any commodity stock, etc. d
