Yes you are right. This is more of a higher-end video editing card in that you can do some editing and special effects with. (Add-in card). It's made by Data Translations, by the way.

The card c-cube is enabling now, is a parallel-port box, that you just connect to your pc at the printer port. (at a much lower retail price point, close to $300.)

Would you buy one? (200,000 people a month, by the "snappy" STILL image from video capture card at a price of $200, C-Cube's design will do both capture and MPEG 1 video compression) This could be big for the Cube.)
