From the American Heritage Dictionary tolerance- the capacity for respecting the beliefs or practices of others I guess I could not then. I can respect people (and love them) as God's creation, but to respect their beliefs in any other than the Truth would not work. There is a difference in respecting people and their beliefs and/or practices. Mark, if you had a cousin that liked to go out and steal from little old ladies every Friday night, would you respect his belief and/or practice, and still associate with with on a natural level?
