Evolution is critical to modern medicine -- proof.

Are you aware that many Medical Schools in Europe, that includes England home of Darwin, do not teach evolution in college Bio? It is a totally irrelevant Theory to the daily practice of Medicine.

Are you aware of the problem of antibiotic resistance? Doctors, ignoring the theory of evolution, gave out vast quantities of antibiotics. Evolution predicts that we should be careful with this wonderful medicine because bacteria will evolve to be resistant to it. So guess what happened? People are dying because the antibiotics that used to work are now worthless because they were over used.

This is just one example why Evolution must be taught in Biology, especially to (future) medical professionals!

Totally irrelevant? This is a pretty powerful demonstration of how clueless you are in a basic understanding of science, medicine and evolution.

Speaking about grave diggers, I wonder how happy they are having to dig extra graves because of the scientific ignorance that the Kansas folks are advancing.

Speaking of England, another example for you is how Mad Cow disease took off because the authorities did not incorporate an adequate understanding how evolution can produce new pathogens when given (dangerous) new environments to develop.
