Goldman Sachs started a bunch of chip makers today. Wouldn't it be nice to see them start a bunch of equipment makers next week, with MTSN at a strong buy. I told you I have lots of fantasies. Ian. ++++++++++++++ Goldman Sachs initiates coverage of seven chip makers: Vitesse Semi (VTSS 88 +1), TranSwitch Corp. (TXCC 60 3/4 +2 1/8), MMC Networks (MMCN 30 1/4 +5/16) Galileo Tech (GALT 59 +7/8) and Broadcom (BRCM 114 1/8 +7/8) all receive initial ratings of "market outperform"; PMC-Sierra (PMCS 103 1/2 +3 3/8) and Applied Micro Circuits (AMCC 61 13/16 +1 3/16) both receive "recommended list" ratings..... +++++++++++++++ BTW mtsn continues to look very nice today.
