Tunica,
You are avoiding the anti-biotic resistance issue, a clear example of natural selection. You should also avoid the FACT that animal research has a lot to do with medicine. Why does research done on mice, rats, monkeys et al. lead to better treatments and drugs for HUMANS? Could it be because we, mice, rats, monkeys and humans, are all related?

By the way, my doctor, dentist, friends who are nurses, all continue to read books and articles about evolution and other aspects of science because, even though they have the piece of paper that allows them to practice their chosen profession, they enjoy and even LOVE the study of science. Some of them still go to church too.

Finally, if you are so sure that the theories explaining evolution are wrong, come up with another theory that covers the evidence and let us test it. Every Creationist theory I have seen has either been untestable, i.e. God created the fossils and set the Carbon 14 ratios so they would appear ancient, or fail when tested against the evidence.
