re: ABX about miners bitching
He's somewhat right, you know. The industry must concentrate on making money. Problem is, even those that do make money or have made the loss to profit turn-around are not rewarded in stock price.

Beat every estimate, and get ZERO press.

It's not just the Central Banks or the miners, it's also the Street which wishes to keep getting checks from shorting both gold & the miners, & won't give them an even break. ABX, HM, & others make more money than many internets can even dream of. It also the Environmental nuts who hate all mining without knowing what most companies are doing to fix prior sins & prevent future problems. It's also the Ken's who wish to hate those down for the sake of hate or profit. It's also the Ron's whom prefer the idea of paper solid over backing of any sort. It's the governments which would really rather have cent of ours & controled(by them) watched every moment. It's the media who are in the pocket of the current "more control is better control" government. It's also the futurists who desire to see gold as only archaic. Then there are those which wish to "bust it, buy it up,& run it up" they are a powerful force to themselves. Should I even note the radical feminists which view gold as an "evil symbol of male dominance"?

Problem is, there is a tomorrow. Scarcity & demand will again rule. "They" must never again stop looking over their shoulders when their day is again done. It has gone too far.
