The original Mac O/S was certainly not written by MSFT, but I don't know what was running on the Apple 1. I only saw one running once and it looked a lot like CP/M, but then all of the O/S's on micros looked that way then. I would quibble that if Feynman was supposed to be richer than Einstein it would have been due to inflation. Einstein really was a better physicist, although apparently not nearly as much fun. And Edison was extremely rich, you know. His greatest invention was the industrial research laboratory.
