was that it had no real competition and noe with this consortium you add up all the eyeballs and that says to me that ebay will have to spend more to attract users an decrease it's profitability,,this was the big advantage before ,,it had very little overhead which it now has to increase due to major threat,,in addition all those articles fail to mention ebays market cap,which i am sure is not a mistake,,,you have to find a way to justify 20 billion on eps of .05,and that is hard,,the actual announcement is on monday and who knows what else they will say,,also imo it is anly a matter of time before yhoo and amzn join,,, |
