Close but no guitar --- my United Airlines frequent flyer account came up 816 miles short of the 100,000 I needed to fly. It was, I think, five levels deep into UAL customer service that a supervisor pulled the bunny out the hat and told me I could get out of my predicatmen: buy $30 worth of flowers for 300 UAL (or AA) miles.
hehehe,,, got my 900 miles --- AND three surprised grrls are gonna smell the flowers, are gonna love my "seat"...! :))
