I know here in Indianapolis, many grocery stores will cash checks for free from your bank. That is what I am going to be doing. Maybe I'm different than most, but I hardly ever carry cash. I have everything deducted automatically out of my checking account. I pay my credit cards online, directly withdrawing from my checking account, electronic transfer between accounts, etc. I figure I don't pull out more than 30-40 in cash a month, and that is only for places that won't except credit cards or checks. So for me, Netbank is great.

Also, people have mentioned customer service and how slow netbank is to respond to new accounts, etc. So far I have had a great experience with them. I received my new account packet within 2 weeks of applying. A few days later I received my ATM cards, then three days later, all my checks. I sent my deposits in, and it was in my account in 4 days from the time I sent the checks to them. Only complaint, as has been mentioned on this board, is how slow-ass their website is! They need to upgrade that immediately. I'm long 500 shares at 29, and am very bullish as to their future.
