Oh yeah... I was just trying to say that right now, UPS has a cost structure by mile. They are cheaper for in-state deliveries etc. So when the UPS strike happened it was really problematic for small business which needs cheap local delivery. But internet retailers can't be bothered with that structure. And the USPS is doing more than they used to. I think UPS should partner with homegrocer/webvan for perishable delivery first off. Thats a huge market and obviously not suitable for air freight. Next drugs. UPS has a niche that isn't offered by anybody else but it is the JIT aspect of their delivery, not the cost.
