Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought there was 1.8 million in the float. The SAC holds around 600,000 (Mark R. correct me if I am wrong) and GIFS holds 300,000 (as stated per Greg M.). That means the shorts have extended themselves 100,000 over (mind you this does not even include the dividend, still waiting BTW). How does one short shares that don't exist?
Is it possible there is not a 1 million short?
And my biggest question of all, with all the money GIFS is making, why not another 400,000 buyback? with the above stated numbers, that would kill the short. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong. |
