Nate I agree: a new, optional course:" creation of the world, the theories and myths behind it". I would make it part of a course in philosophy. Europeans offer that in grade 9; it is a 4 year course; you get to learn every cockeyed belief. Thus when Carl and the gravediggers (try) to tell them that they came from slime our kids won't bat an eye, TA Message #744 from Nate at Sep 17 1999 4:08PM then we should teach all theories of creation of the world in literature since not of them have been proven facts. i agree, it's place is not in a science text book. i think there should be a new required course. creation of the world, the theories and myths behind it. would you agree??
