with out the protections of patents ones ideas and equipment are extremely vulnerable.

Time to sell my Dell Computer stock!

There are many ways to be successful, with only the more "high tech" ones requiring patents. And there are often many solutions to achieving the same results whereby a patent only protects one path. Being innovative, quick to market with a quality product and customer service, as well as being the low cost producer go a long way in gaining and maintaining market share. This seems to be the TSIS strategy.

And given the cash flow (increasing) the business generates it seems to work reasonably well. IMO expanding the customer base would go a long way in reducing the perceived inherent risks in this company.
