Re: SAP and CTXS

SAP will support the customer implementation of SAPGUI Version 4.5B (or later) on MetaFrame platforms (running the Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition operating system). This enables SAP R/3 applications to be contained fully within a server complex, with just screen information distributed to client devices. A wide variety of client devices can be supported within this architecture including those based on both Microsoft Windows (Windows NT, Windows 9X, Windows CE, Windows 3.11) and non-Windows (MS-DOS, Mac OS, Java OS/2, Linux, SunSoft Solaris, HP-UX and other UNIX variants, as well as web browsers) environments.

"oh, and ICA will not be the transport."

dreydoc,
Thanks for your comments. Something doesn't square with what I believe is a Citrix press release from the first SAPPHIRE '99 of May 4, 1999 and what you currently discovered in Philadelphia. Did the Citrix people in the booth specifically tell you that ICA is not involved or am I reading your comments incorrectly?
