I could not agree with you more. I have a lot of respect for IBM process technology, but some of their advanced process stuff is in my opinion, "hyped", relative to the real world performance gain realized, and various other risk factors associated with manufacturability are seemingly minimized.

Cu at .18 provides minimal performance boost at best, IMO, and remains a dubious prospect until proven otherwise. Sorry Copper fans.
